The beach is popular with surfers and is safe for swimming, and the promenade is an excellent place for a stroll. The ruins of Aberystwyth Castle (which can be seen from the apartment) are free to explore and provide excellent views of the town and coast. For even more spectacular views and stunning cliff top walks climb to the top of Constitution Hill, or take a ride to the top on the Aberystwyth Electric Cliff Railway.
